Siesta Wear

Take your time

People seem very busy these days. Busy working, exercising, optimising, and telling everyone how busy they are. We thought we’d try something else.

Siesta is based on the fairly radical idea that you don’t have to rush through life to have a good one. Slowing down might actually help you notice it. Take a nap. Sit in the sun. Watch people. Change your mind about something. None of this is particularly good for your productivity metrics, but it’s surprisingly good for being a contented person.

We take inspiration from older generations, especially those in the Mediterranean, who somehow manage to look effortlessly stylish whilst never appearing to be in a hurry. They understand that not every hour needs filling and that an afternoon nap isn’t laziness—it’s common sense.

Our clothes follow the same logic: comfortable, colourful, full of personality and surprising details. Clothes that feel like they belong to someone, instead of everyone.

Siesta isn’t really about clothing anyway. The clothing is just something easy to wear while you’re taking your time.

Now, go and take a Siesta. It might just be the most productive thing you do today.

Siesta is an experiment in creating a brand for slowing down, with bold and comfortable clothing for serious relaxing.
